Happy New Year! As 2022 starts off, I’m starting by building back my finished hat stacks. I’ve started a tradition of bringing my hat bins
Seasons Greetings! As we move through the 2021 holiday season, I’m moving through each of my free patterns to create a free messy bun version that you can whip together easily then repeat for friends and family as you wish. Enjoy!
I still love seeing hats with great textures and this seed stitch is so simple as a beginner teaching myself to knit, it is such a treat from to get in the rhythm of knit, purl, knit, purl — so great for getting the hang of switching back and forth with ease. This simple beauty will be a go-to pattern for years to come for sure.
High school, college, soccer, football, baseball, whatever your team colors may be – incorporate them into this messy bun beanie winter hat to show your team pride!
Who doesn’t love a great gingham for any home decor style? It is especially easy to use this pretty, neutral gingham all year long and simply add a splash of seasonal color with a cute orange pumpkin, a bright Easter egg, or simply add a deep red napkin for the Christmas holiday season. My version works up super quickly using a Size 5 Bulky yarn.
This thick and squishy wash cloth fabric will easily become a favorite for you. Going to a gathering? Bring a little hostess gift.
Fall prep? This is a quick and easy make that’ll have them coming back for more.
Have fun dreaming up the colors you’ll try.
This color block pattern with rows of bobbles makes a classy beautiful baby blanket. I’ve been dreaming of trying some bobbles and incorporating them into a pattern. I love the color block technique I learned from Daisy Farm Crafts so thought I’d try another and add the bobbles with it. I previously used the color block style in this gray/white blanket found in one of my other blog posts.
Easy baby blanket pattern in graduated stripes. Inspiration for this blanket pattern was inspired by a a vision I had about gradually smaller stripes like a wave makes in the sand. And the color is just a favorite yarn I’ve been dreaming about spinning into a blanket: Caron Super Soft in Persimmon, a rusty orange color.
