DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner – it uses both intarsia and tapestry techniques that are practiced and learned in an easy fashion as you start with the stem and leaf then move up to the sunflower head where you will just add more color as you go along.

SUPPLIES NEEDED
Yarn: Caron One Pound (all yardage is estimated)
• White (1200 yds, about 1.5 skeins)
• Off-White (1200 yds, about 1.5 skeins)
• Leaf (200 yds, far less than 1 skein)
• Sunflower (400 yds, about ½ skein)
• Espresso, Brown (400 yds, about ½ skein)
o *In the featured blanket pictures, I have used Lion Brand Basic Stitch yarn in Gold Heather.
Crochet Hook: J/6 mm
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Clothespins or clips for intarsia spools
Rubber bands to roll up the blanket as it gets unwieldy and large, easier to control when rolled up
